At Sugar Maple Cabins in Pigeon Forge TN the responsibility of having the cabins cleaned after the prior guests leave may be overlooked. So this is how our $310 a night Nov 2003 vacation began:

Take a look at the 12 bags of stinky smelly trash left behind by the previous guests' week-long stay.

This sure is some way of saying "Welcome"

Here are the sheets that may have lasted a full week for the previous guests.

Who's been sleeping in my bed?!

Here is a pile of cat food left for us by the previous guests' cat. It is still undetermined as to why the cat was staying at a cabin where pets are not allowed.

More evidence of the cat is the hairs which stayed on the futon throughout our entire stay.

The carpets never were vacuumed while we were there.

We learned where the sticky areas of the floor were so as to walk around them in our socks.

Previously used feminine hygiene products?
